Olivia (Support Worker)

Meet Olivia, a dedicated and passionate Support Worker with a strong commitment to improving the lives of individuals living with disabilities. Since beginning her career in the disability sector in September 2023, Olivia has embraced a person centered approach, ensuring that the unique needs and goals of every participant are met with respect, care, and compassion.

Olivia holds a Certificate III in Individual Support and is currently advancing her skills by studying a Certificate IV in Individual Support. Olivia’s journey into this field began after a fulfilling three-year career as an Early Childhood Educator, during which she completed a Certificate III in Early Childhood Education and Care. Although she loved working with children, Olivia wanted to make a more meaningful impact by helping individuals with disabilities and ensuring that every person receives the quality of care they deserve.

Olivia’s career as a Support Worker began when a family member introduced her to the field. Initially, she worked casually with a participant, gaining hands on experience before progressing to support individuals with more complex physical and psychosocial disabilities. This diverse experience has helped her grow both professionally and personally, giving her a deeper understanding of the unique challenges faced by those she supports.

Outside of work, Olivia enjoys reading, exercising, traveling, and spending time with her close friends and family. She also has a passion for drawing and listening to music, which helps her unwind and stay balanced.
